energy and nutrients from food. Nutrition involves
many processes: digestion takes place in the digestive
system; circulation takes place in the circulatory system; respiration takes place in the respiratory system and excretion takes place in the
excretory system.
Sensitivity is the
ability to detect and respond to changes in the environment. The
process of sensitivity involves the sense organs, the nervous system and the locomotor system.
Reproduction is the ability to have
offspring similar to ourselves. People have sexual reproduction. They are viviparous because babies start
developing in their mother’s womb.
